Qatar, Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, and Australia are also among the top 10 countries that pay the highest wages in the world.

India takes the 65th spot in the global average monthly worker wages race. Average monthly salary in India ranges to Rs 46,861.

Countries that have average monthly salaries less than India are Turkey, Brazil, Argentina, Indonesia, Colombia, Bangladesh, Venezuela, Nigeria, Egypt, and Pakistan.
