Taste Atlas brings you the top 100 cities worldwide for trying local food.

Two Indian cities have made it to the list.

New Delhi secured the 16th spot, while Mumbai secured the 34th spot.

“New Delhi’s traditional food is characterised by aromatic spices, rich flavours, and diverse culinary influences,” they wrote.

They recommended Delhi’s chole bhature, butter chicken, aloo tikki, nihari, and pakora.

About Mumbai, Taste Atlas said, “The local food scene in Mumbai is a mouth-watering promenade of street food vendors and traditional Indian eateries.”

The foods you must try in Mumbai include vada pav, pav bhaji, bhel puri, ragda pattice, and Bombay sandwich.

The top-ranked city for experiencing authentic local cuisine is none other than Florence, Italy.

 Locals love their bistecca alla Fiorentia, ribollita, lampredotto, and trippa alla fiorentia, and Pappardelle al cinghiale there .

It is followed by Rome, and Lima was third.
