Which Indian airport is among the world’s favourite?

Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport has made its debut as the fourth best international airport in 2023.

The airport provides a wide range of amenities, including shopping, dining, and entertainment options, making it a preferred choice for travellers.

Singapore’s Changi Airport has earned the top rank once again this year. The airport remains at the top since 2013, the year Travel + Leisure introduced the awards.

Its most famous attraction is the Rain Vortex, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, surrounded by an indoor forest with elevated walkways.

Dubai International Airport, UAE, is ranked second. It is also one of the world’s busiest airports.

Hamad International Airport, Qatar, which secured third position, is a unique destination for a complete lifestyle experience.

The fifth spot is bagged by the Incheon International Airport, South Korea. It is streamlined, ultra-clean, and easy to navigate.

Hong Kong International Airport, which came into six in 2022 is replaced by Haneda (Tokyo International) Airport, Japan.

Coming in seventh is Istanbul Airport, which is a newbie with a capacity of 90 million passengers per year.

Abu Dhabi International Airport is ranked eight on the coveted list of Travel + Leisure readers’ favourite international airports of 2023.

Zurich Airport in Switzerland is ranked ninth.
